WBBM-DT moved from Digital 3 to Digital 12 (displays on Channel 2).

And WLS-DT moved from Digital 52 to Digital 7 (displays on Channel 7).

So WLS-DT has now moved from UHF to VHF (52 to 7). WBBM-DT moved from a low number VHF to a high number VHF (2 to 12).

There are different types of antennas:
Combined UHF and VHF
Combined UHF and VHF high numbers only
UHF only

Therefore, the 'UHF only' antenna will not work for WBBM-DT, and it will not work anymore for WLS-DT (even though it worked prior to 12:00 Noon today).

If you have 'Combined' rabbit ears, try moving around the antenna, pull out the dipoles and spread them out all-the-way (which are used just for VHF). This may solve the problem for both stations.

If you already had a UHF/VHF antenna, chances are likely you were not using the VHF part previously (because WBBM-DT would not come in no matter how hard you tried, and WLS-DT used to be on UHF), but now you will need to tweak the VHF part of your antenna.
