: You know, "E-skip" - that phenomenon when it's really hot and muggy in the summer, and channel 2 comes in even worse than usual, you tune to channel 3 and see stations from far away for like 30 seconds at a time. I've seen stations from Memphis and San Antonio come in. One atmospheric level bounces the signal and another below it becomes just the right thickness, so a signal gets bounced around like a ping pong ball fired into a drop ceiling, until it pops out somewhere.
: Will that still work with digital signals?
Mess of E-Skip on the FM band. I yanked in to HD Radio signals from Florida. Yep, 1,200 miles away.
I also DXed WNDU South Bend today in DT.
So i'm guessing yes
