I really like the idea of Sirott in morning drive! Other than that, I'm tired of hearing the same old names. There is a reason Matthews went back to Michigan! His numbers went into the crapper. Bonaduce? Come on, man. That dude is borderline psycho. I just really get tired of the same old names being thrown around here. I believe "regular listeners" out there want something fresh and new... a new voice... not the same old people that are rehashed and/or repackaged with other people.
Nobody heard of Bob Collins when he was brought to town. Ditto Spike O'Dell (though I wasn't a big fan of his). Let's get some talent in Chicago from the smaller markets across the country. Let's find the next Uncle Bobby and put him on WGN. Let's put Matthews, Dahl, Meier, etc. out to pasture! Great guys that are legends, but it's time to let go.....
