Patrick - I didn't listen to all of it. From what I heard:
1) Congratulations. For every 1,000 people who talk a good game about doing something like this, 1 actually does it.
2) Lose the 30 seconds of lead-in music. Just a super quick ramp up and dive right into your content.
3) Don't ever apologize for not being good enough, or for your audio, or anything. Be as good as you can be right now - try easy - and have fun with it.
4) Along the same lines, just do the content you want to do. Forget inviting critique or input via your audio. Find some mentors to critique you and leave it at that. You can't listen to everybody.
5) For kicks, go back to your podcast, and edit out the following:
- The band music at the beginning
- Any time you over-explained why you were saying what you were saying (i.e. "I'm betting on them because they're my favorite team)
- Every time you apologized.
After you edit it, go back and listen to it - it will be so much crisper. Then keep doing a new one every day and find some people to help you fine tune.
Good luck. You're on the right track.
