If I had a past or present associate who was doing business with someone I knew to have had dodgy affairs in the past, you can bet your ass I'd tip my mate off at the earliest possible opportunity, to help my mate avoid getting taken. If Tom Shaer knew something, and said nothing to Mike North, then he is no kind of friend to Mike. End of.
And I am not a sports fan, I never listen to any kind of sports talk, have never heard Mike North on the air, wouldn't know him from Adam's off ox. Nor do I know who Tom Shaer is, though I think I may have seen him on TV doing sports? Again, I am a sports illiterate and wouldn't know. I'm commenting about the situation -- I have no knowledge of the individuals involved except what I read on this board.
