Surprised that no one commented this morning. Does that mean many people on this board either did not listen, or did listen and didn't really think much of the show?
I didn't get to listen to a lot of it, just a few segments. In my opinion, it is obvious that regardless of who you put in that spot, the traffic and weather every ten minutes is going to create an awkward situation.
I know I'm beating a dead horse, and many people here agree, but the every ten minutes simply is annoying for a show that is supposed to be talk. It works if the content is all news. I wish WGN would realize that.
As for Jarrett, I can see myself liking him, but it's hard to tell only after a few segments.
For all the change and trying to stir things up, however, it seems that Jarrett is more of the old-style voice of WGN that their traditional audience would be used to hearing.
