Some Chicagoans quickly find their smooth jazz at "The L", after WNUA fades.

Arbitron offers a rare day-by-day chart for below-the-usual-FM-band WLFM (87.7). It's the audio of a low power Channel 6 TV station, and it went from averaging about 1,000 AQH 6+ persons daily to over 10,000 - exactly five days after it converted to a smooth jazz format run by a former WNUA (95.5) executive. Its audio became a "radio station" with jazz on May 22, and Arbitron found it with over 10,000 AQH persons on May 27.
