i didnt hear that specifically, but i recently tuned in on the weekend and was surprised to notice piped in "talent" from q102 philly. some kids named rat dog and stay puff? looks like rick vaughn is patronizing his former staff. a far cry from when gillette had everything live&local down to requiring a live body in the studio when running ryan seacrest's countdown show. what continues to amaze me is how these people keep getting piped INTO chicago from SMALLER MARKETS. yeah i sorta "get" the daily ryan seacrest thing, he's huge to the demo and it's all about budget cutting, but some toolbag named joey brooks with a cheesesteak accent from philadelphia stuttering along is better than a live&local chicagoan?

: Tuned in this past weekend to hear Dead Air and Mismatched monikers from the part-time talent who must voicetrack across the country. He was going into a song and introed HOT 99-5, which is the DC/Baltimore CHR, and talked about the Drex morning show! HILARIOUS coming from THEEEE leading CHR in town.
