What happened to Darian Trotter?

According to the Tribune's Phil Rosenthal, former WFLD reporter Darian Trotter, who left Fox32 in March when his contract was not renewed, has joined WDIV-TV, the NBC affiliate in Detroit, MI as a reporter for that news outlet.
