Chicago's Mancow got his start as a Kansas City radio personality. Even though he is long gone from that town, he apparently is not well liked by other personalities there. His feuds, legal battles & war of words with Randy Miller has been talked about on here. Jerry Agar is a former KC jock who has no real love for Mancow. Now another KC talker, KMBZ-AM's Darla Jaye has been bad-mouthing Mancow on her show, sticking up for Jerry Agar and the way he lost his job at WLS.
Mancow, the free-speech loving Libertarian, has hired a lawyer to shut Darla Jaye up and stop her from freely speaking. Darla Jaye is a shrill, negative, completely unlikable ultra-conservative radio host. Mancow is... well... Mancow. Kind of hard to choose a side in this battle.
On a side note... Jerry Agar, who is mentioned a lot in link above and was sort of the catalyst for this confrontation, has been filling in for Darla Jaye on her show this week on KMBZ. Say what you want about the man, but he is a workaholic!
