I forgot the last part of my post: For all they know, Clear Channel is a dog food company. Heck, I think Petco is run better.

: What used to be such a powerhouse, Chicago institution is crumbling. As much as I want to give Power 92 credit for eroding away at GCI's brand and listenership, I think most of the damage was done by self-destruction. Clear Channel, a debt-ridden organization that, like all of the bailed out corporations we hear about in the news, still manages to find a way to compensate its 'top' management team (and I do use top in quotations on purpose), but it offers no funds for local station operation. It really seems as though Clear Channel doesn't even know it has radio stations and how much a part of life those stations are to the community they're 'serving' (again, quotations).
