Chicago's CBS-owned TV and radio stations are teaming up to simulcast a 90-minute town hall meeting about violence in the city.

Rob Johnson, news anchor at WBBM-Channel 2, and Felicia Middlebrooks, morning anchor at all-news WBBM-AM (780), will host "Speaking Truth: A Town Hall Meeting on Violence" from 10 to 11:30 p.m. May 10.

Preempting Channel 2's 10 p.m. newscast that Saturday night, the special will air on both Channel 2 and "Newsradio 780."

Public officials, community leaders and residents will gather to discuss causes and solutions related to violence, including guns, gangs, drugs, poverty, unemployment, family dynamics, education and law enforcement.

Joining Johnson and Middlebrooks as contributors will be Anne State and Ryan Baker of Channel 2 and Pat Cassidy of "Newsradio 780."

Ticket availability and location of the event have not yet been announced.
