As PPM numbers are showing WGCI is losing in all dayparts except in afternoons in comparison to Power 92, 18-34, 18-49. I'm sure they are scratching their heads at WGCI seeing as though WVAZ and Kiss are doing well and GCI was once a powerhouse. Emmis should flip one of their properties here in Chicago since they own Power 106 in L.A. and Hot 97 in New York, both of these are #1 stations. Why not wise up and bring a full signal hiphop to go up against Power 92 and WGCI, or urban ac to combat v103. By the way Tom Joyner is gaining on Steve Harvey his numbers look good too. And Soul 106.3 has a very small signal. Any thoughts?
When did you hear promos? What do the promos say? I haven't heard a thing about Sam or any new afternoon host. Nor does power92chicago.com have any teasers at all. I believe CC is failing to have GCI and V live up to their full potentials, but I disagree that Crawford is creeping up on them THAT much.
