Friends:

I got a call-back from the management at WLS and so, this Sunday at noon the red light will go on in the big studio at 890-AM and I'd better have something to say.

From noon to 2 o'clock on the Big 89 I'll be talking about the news and a lot of other things. For instance:

The myths we take for truth about our body. Your parents... and probably you have told your kids to "never swallow gum!" Oh really? Is it actually bad for you? Does chilly air really make you more susceptible to catching a cold? How about these: cracking your knuckles gives you arthritis; wear a hat in the winter because you lose most of your body heat shoots out of your head. How 'bout these: sugar makes kids hyper and candy quickly picked up from the floor is safe to eat? IS ALL THIS STUFF TRUE? I have an expert who will reveal the answers.

Well also learn how to write a killer resume, how to use Facebook and Twitter for business purposes (What?!) and whether all the hype about sustainability and green is nothing more than... well, hype.

All of that in 2 hours! Impossible you say. Don't think I can do it. Well then, tune in, call in and find out... Sunday the 12th from noon to 2 on WLS 890 AM.

It'll be fun and I guarantee you'll learn something to impress your friends and astound your enemies.

Oh, and don't be distracted by that minor baseball game they're running on WGN at the same time. Pay no attention to it.
