WMVP adding of Sock requires an exit

But they hit the dump button on Elia, who had been scheduled to appear on Monday's show. Once host Dan McNeil and his producers realized that Elia already had appeared on at least four Chicago radio shows that day, they took a pass.

When Elia learned that the show had labeled him a "sellout," he took offense.

"He can be as steamed as he desires," McNeil said. "Lee Elia means nothing to me or to my show. And you can take it downtown and print it."
