Next month, the George S. May Foundation for the Arts will be holding a fundraiser called "Saved By The Music" to help keep music in Chicago's schools and kids off the street. The event will be hosted by Julian Jumpin' Perez. Other special guests include Kiss-FM's Candi Gomez, B96's DJ Flipside and former Power 92 dude Donnie DeVoe. There will be live music, a silent auction with numerous autographed sports memorabilia and.. drumroll.. an open bar. The fundraiser will be at Joe's Bar (940 W. Weed St., Chicago) on August 6th from 8:00pm-11:00pm. The $30 donation for the event can be made in advance or at the door. For more information about this event, visit pause.gsmfoundation.org.
