A pair of quick media notes from Fred Mitchell's sports column in today's Chicago Tribune:

Sports radio's Jesse Rogers has found employment since the chicagosportswebio.com fiasco. Rogers now assists on the weekend "Talking Baseball" segment for WMVP-AM 1000, and he will handle Blackhawks beat coverage...

Comcast SportsNet anchor/reporter Sarah Kustok will be the emcee for "Memory Rock 2009," an Alzheimer's Association fundraiser to be held on Aug. 27 from 7-10 p.m. at Joe's Sports Bar (940 W. Weed St).
