Yea #6 isn't that much of a step down, but ANY step down, doing the SAME shift, especially when the new job is not with the same company, smells of either being fired from the current spot or knowing you're on your way out so you jump ship before they can axe you. Plus isn't Chicago her hometown?
Further, Hot is a relatively new station in Houston. It's not like she's going to some legendary heritage station or anything.
