I am not 100% sure, but I don't believe his employment with WLS has anything to do with ESPN 1000. Last I heard, Chet was not exactly on good terms with the higher ups at ESPN 1000. I wouldn't rule anything out, obviously, but the station has had ample opportunity to bring Chet back in since the Webio failed and they have chosen not to. I figured with the Bears season nearing, Chet had a good chance of coming back but it doesn't appear to be. I'm not a huge fan of his, not so much because I dislike him, but I would much rather listen to the younger voices such as Ben Finfer and J Hood.
: This is all regarding the WLS site. I see that they are again the home for Notre Dame Sports. As a result, Steve Dale's show moves to 6:00 AM. I also see that the Making Money In Real Estate Program is not on the schedule which was hosted by Deborah Rowe, but Deborah herself will be hosting the Deborah Rowe Radio Program from 10 to noon. What is most surprising is that according to the WLS site, Chet Coppock has returned to host the pre and postgame starting this week at noon. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think this is still some arrangement with ESPN 1000. If true, perhaps Chet will be back on 1000 once the Notre Dame season is over.
