Unusual....
Since you are a loyal 9 FM listener, I thought I'd send you a note to say goodbye. This is my last week at 9 FM.
I have spent more than 3 years at 9 FM, and it has really been a pleasure to interact with you... via email, phone, various 9 FM events, and on the radio!
Traditionally, radio people disappear into the night... never to be heard from on that station again. All of a sudden you tune in and there is a different voice on the radio, and a week later the old voice has not returned? No one tells you what happened or anything.
That idea seems silly... so I am letting you in on the story. 9 FM has been a wonderful experience! It's simply time for a change professionally, and personally. I have accepted a new opportunity as Program Director at WERV in Aurora. You can still enjoy 9 FM as you always have, and if you ever find yourself in the Western Suburbs, you can listen to me on 95.9 The River!
