CC has no illusions about making inroads against Eric & Kathy. It's simply a matter of having to pay Melissa Forman vs. piping in one of their other jocks for free. If you're going to have a show that gets no numbers, you may as well get it pro bono. It's no coincidence that anytime CC does an "exhaustive nationwide search", it always leads to their own talent. What a lucky break!
