With no baseball this Thursday for both of Chicago's disappointing baseball teams, Comcast SportsNet is planning a celebration to honor the upcoming induction of Basketball Hall of Famer Michael Jordan with "23 Hours of MJ". Starting at 5:30p Thursday, the regional sports network will present classic Bulls' games featuring his "Airness" at his very, very best. That includes Game 5 of the NBA Finals in 1991 at the old Great Western Forum vs. the L.A. Lakers that secured the Bulls' first NBA Championship in franchise history, along with Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals at what used to be called the Delta Center, (now known as Energy Solutions Arena) in Salt Lake City vs. the Utah Jazz in which many thought MJ made was the final shot of his career at the time. ESPN Classic, DIRECTV 208, will also have classic Jordan games along the way. It leads up to ESPN's live coverage of the Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Springfield, MA this Friday night at 6p.
