The 90 day experiment with the KickStarter website, trying to raise funds to self-publish his book "CHICAGO ROCKED! 1990-1999", unfortunately ended without JVO being able to raise the minimum $17,000 needed. He was only able to get pledges for $10,294. A respectable number, especially considering the economic climate, but just not enough. (KickStarter websites will only stay open & collecting money for 90 days. After that, if the minimum is not met, all money pledged gets returned.)
