Recently, there were salespeople knocking on doors in my neighbourhood to sell Uverse. I was interested. Very interested. Strangely, when I enter my phone number online, the response is that Uverse is not available in my neighbourhood. The salesperson and her manager were quite certain this was incorrect. They made numerous phone calls to attempt to sort the problem, but to no avail. AT&T Uverse ran a credit check on me despite my having been an AT&T customer for well over a decade (with not so much as one late payment). I still have no indication when AT&T Uverse will be available to me, but I do have an inquiry on my credit report.
What a right load of bollocks. If they can't even figure out where their service is available, how will they manage to support it?
