William J. Kelly making a move

William J. Kelly, host & producer of the local TV shows "Upscale TV" & "Sportsaholic" is looking for a new challenge.

He wants to run for Illinois Comptroller on the Republican ticket in 2010. So Kelly will be doing numerous events, including Karaoke contests, to drum up support, gather signatures to get on the ballot and raise financial backing.

Kelly's political views tend to be to the extreme right, though there are hours of film footage of him acting not-so-conservative on "Upscale TV", so he may have his work cut out for him.

This will not be his first attempt at winning a public office job election. In 1994, William Kelly unsuccessfully ran against Congressman Bobby Rush.
