Citadel to nix Doug Banks; more?

Citadel Media has informed affiliates of "Afternoons with Doug and DeDe" the show will end on 12/31. Banks has been with the network (first ABC Radio and now Citadel), since the mid-90's (beginning in morning syndication and since the beginning of 2008). DeDe McGuire has been part of the show since the late '90s. She hails from KKDA-FM Dallas.
RBR-TVBR observation: Just a rumor but this rumor is flooding our email in-boxes and on the street it is a very very strong rumor or bet at this point, but we've been hearing that Citadel plans more show closure announcements/jettisons soon. We’re sure Mark Levin will not be one of them!
Needless to say, this could not be confirmed by Citadel or Citadel Media except when RBR asked various questions of Citadel Media the the answers were very defensive and mother is only one-half of a word.
