RADIO NEWS PRODUCER
Lakeshore Public Radio is seeking a resourceful and organized producer to take charge of a fast-growing morning news program and afternoon public affairs program. The ideal candidate should have experience in radio news and/or production experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Telecommunications, or the equivalent. Candidate should have knowledge of digital audio editing and writing copy for radio. The producer will prepare copy and edit sound for our four-hour weekday morning newscast, gather information on overnight and breaking news, present business news on-air and interact with our morning show host. In addition, you will assist our afternoon host with booking and confirming guests for a daily public affairs program. Knowledge of Northwest Indiana events and issues is a plus.
