On October 22nd, the House of Blues will be hosting a charity concert called "School of Rock", benefiting the San Miguel Schools.

The San Miguel organization helps Latino and African American students succeed in school and life. Styx and Biz Markie will take the stage.

Acting as Chairman for the event is Larry Wert, President & General Manager of NBC5 and former General Manager of WLUP. Co-Chairman is Marv Nyren, current General Manager at WLUP.

WLUP is giving away free tickets on-air.
