What a GREAT find!! I love the part that explains when a radio salesman gets a new client, he goes to the station COMPOSER who creates a jingle for the client. Then the station ORCHESTRA rehearses and records the tune on a disk. I wonder do each of the Clear Channel stations have their own orchestra, or have they combined them yet? :-D
: Oh, man... this is wonderful!
: It's a 1951 industrial film about New York's WMCA that not only says a lot about radio of the times, but also about documentaries of the era.
: (The Chicago tie-in? There's a shot of a network map of the USA that includes our fair city...)
: I think it was circulated a couple of years ago, but if you haven't seen it before, well, now's your chance! you'll laugh... you'll cry..
