The Chicago-based company, The Content Factory was set to take radio & TV by storm. Founded & ran by Jimmy DeCastro, the one-time Chicago radio czar, The Content Factory was supposed to be the ultimate in marketing & branding for all media. They immediately signed Dan Patrick, the #1 sports talk show host in the nation, who left ESPN to be part of this new venture. All indications were that this company would steamroll its way to success. It seems like the wheels may be coming off of the Content Factory's steamrolling train, though. Late yesterday, it was leaked out that the Content Factory sold its contracts to the radio shows of Dan Patrick and Tony Bruno to DirecTV, who will now manage these shows. Patrick & Bruno were the entire client base of CF. With no clients or product left to distribute, it appears that the ambitious Content Factory may soon be done.
