After more than four years as vice president and general manager of WSNS-Channel 44, Ed Fernandez was promoted to president and general manager of the NBC/Telemundo Spanish-language station.

At the same time last week, Channel 44 news director Esteban Creste was promoted to vice president of news, and general sales manager Claudia Estrada was promoted to vice president of sales.

"It's a well-deserved recognition for their hard work and dedication, and the respect they have gained in their local communities," said Ibra Morales, president of Telemundo TV Stations.
