all of these people starting internet streams/broadcasts and pretending they're "chicago stations" are fooling themselves. it's an internet stream, not a radio station.
: We aren't even done eating the Trick-or-Treat candy, but the Holiday music has started already. The first station to start playing Christmas music 24/7 was not WLIT -- that's still a couple of weeks away. The winner in the race to play Holiday music first was... Chicago-based AccuRadio's ChiTownSmoothJazz.com. At Noon on Thursday, the Internet radio station launched "Smooth Jazz Christmas." The station is playing seasonal standards by artists like Kenny G, Dave Koz, Boney James, Vince Guaraldi Trio, Al Jarreau, Manhattan Transfer and many others. The station is expertly programmed by former WNUA star, Rick O'Dell. On top of that, Rick O'Dell and another former WNUA voice, Danae Alexander, are the co-hosts of the channel.
