Time for WCPT's Gissy Awards

Believe it or not, it's time again for the annual "Gissy Awards" on Jake Hartford's Saturday morning talk show on WCPT-AM (820).

Named for ex-Chicago news personality Giselle Fernandez, the awards honor the best and worst TV news people in town, as chosen by listeners.

Among Hartford's guests will be a former "Miss Gissy" winner, Linda MacLennan.

Voting by phone and online will be open from 6 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday. The winners will be announced by 10 a.m.
