Tribune Sports App?

The Trib has (or had) two iPhone apps: a news reader that didn't include sports and a separate sports reader. The sports reader app quit updating about 2 weeks ago and has disappeared from view in iTunes' app store. Anyone know why the cross-platforming junkies at Tribune Co. killed it?
