The shocker: Schlock jock Mancow Muller won a trip for two to Italy, which included an audience with the pope.

* * The buckshot: It prompted auctioneer Kathy Posner to ask the audience if "they were sure they wanted [radio ranter] Mancow to visit the pope?"

* * The stats: Mancow paid $3,500 for the trip; an award provided by Bishop Thomas Paprocki, president of the Chicago Legal Clinic.
