I just tried to tune in to CL TV in my bedroom TV to see the latest on this storm and the receiver would'nt pick up Channel 38 anymore and I wondered why.

Now I know ..

What a stupid movie ..

You would think Tribune would at least then put CL TV on one of its Channel 9- DTV subchannels.

: Just got word this morning that, in their constant pursuit of giving less for more, Comcast is demoting CLTV from basic cable to digital basic on their northern Cook County system. Oh yeah, and MoviePlex is going to a higher tier too.

: This cannot be good news at all for the already struggling CLTV. A shift to a higher tier of service always results in even fewer viewers. And, it's bad news for the budget-conscious among us who now have one less channel to watch. After all, CLTV's analog spot is being replaced by.....nothing.

: When, oh when, will U-Verse come to my neighborhood - so I can give Comcrap the boot?!?
