Rick McLaughlin, who was a news anchor in the 1980s and 1990s with what was then Tribune Radio Network, has passed away from cardiac arrest.

Rick was also a news anchor and talk show host at WROK before attending law school at Northern Illinois University, and working as an attorney in Attorney General Lisa Madigan's office.
