Danny Bonaduce to Chicago Radio.. soon?

Last week's rumor has turned into this week's best bet: Danny Bonaduce is close to a Chicago comeback as afternoon host at Emmis Communications classic rock WLUP-FM (97.9).

Marv Nyren, regional vice president and market manager of Emmis Radio Chicago, stopped short of confirming a deal with anyone, but he had nothing but praise for Bonaduce.

"We think Danny is a phenomenal talent," Nyren said. "There's definitely been no shortage of people interested in the [afternoon] job at the Loop, but I would have to say I've always been impressed with Danny's work in radio, television and even books. He's an amazingly a well-rounded performer."
