The Chicago Blackhawks, who are now enjoying some of their greatest popularity since the early 70's, are adding more & more content to their website, ChicagoBlackhawks.com. Soon to be added will be interviews of former Blackhawks' greats by veteran sports talker Chet Coppock. Also coming soon will be the new Team Historian, Bob Verdi. The longtime (but now former) Chicago Tribune sports columnist will be adding semi-regular columns and content to the site, as well as to many of the home game programs.
There is not a better run (or, as of now, a better performing) professional sports franchise in town than the Chicago Blackhawks. They have embraced new media and new ways to attract an audience, while not forgetting their vibrant history. It's exciting to see this organization work.
