Jim Sulski dies

Just received news that Jim Sulski has lost his long battle with cancer. He may not be a familiar media name to the masses, but he made his mark on many people within the journalistic community here in Chicago.

Jim was an Associate Professor with the Journalism Department at Columbia College Chicago, as well as an advisor at the Columbia Chronicle student newspaper. He had been with Columbia College since 1991.

Jim was also a regular freelance journalist for the Chicago Tribune, Crain's Chicago Business, Shore Magazine, Chicago Social Magazine, the Chicago Journal, Real Estate Chicago, Consumers Digest Magazine, and MSN.

A wake is scheduled for Sunday 1/10 from 2pm-9pm at Dalcamo Funeral Home, 470 W. 26th St. in Chicago. The funeral will be Monday 1/11 at 10am at the Old St. Patrick's Church, 700 W. Adams in Chicago.
