WGN's Jerry Agar will be part of a comedic play this weekend. Agar, along with his "Jerry's Kidders" (aka Dobie Maxwell, Tim Slagle and Ken Sevara) and Chicago playwright Vicki Quade have created "You're On the Air: A Talk Radio Parody." The play is a funny -- but "fictional" (sorta') -- look at a radio talk show host, coincidentally named Jerry. In the play, "Jerry" takes calls from listeners that get him into trouble and he ends up going down the radio dial. In addition to Agar, Maxwell, Slagle and Sevara also are part of the live act. The play makes its debut this weekend at the Beverly Arts Center (2407 W. 111th St., Chicago). There will be a performance on Saturday 1/16 at 8pm and another on Sunday 1/17 at 2pm. There will be another performance on February 27th at the Irish-American Heritage Center (4626 N. Knox Ave., Chicago).
