Terrestrial radio has reached out to Howard – but maybe he’ll move to the internet?
Howard is still staying tight-lipped about his future. Will he stay, or will he go?
“Everyone has been asking me what I’m going to do in a year,” he said, “I don’t even know right now. I don’t even care. I don’t even worry about it.”
Internet radio might be an option.
“For a guy like me who already has an audience, I could take my audience to the internet,” Howard pointed out.
Howard doesn’t need mass exposure anymore—like free radio—he’s already built up his career.
But “testicular” radio wants him. “I’ve already been approached to go back to terrestrial radio,” Howard revealed. Nah!
Howard’s not looking for that. “I love being on these kinds of censor-free broadcasts,” Howard insisted. Regular radio is no place for edgy content.
So the door is open for re-signing with Sirius XM.
“I want to see the company be successful,” says Howard, “We’ll see what happens, at some point my agent will meet with Sirius and see if there’s anything worth doing together.”
It sounds like if Howard does re-sign there’s going to be some changes.
