The 5 local television news outlets have apparently decided, either individually or in concert that Chicagoans do not need to receive any news coverage on Saturday mornings.
Every weekday , when many of us are busy at, or getting ready to leave for work the 5 local stations bombard us with endless hours of local
news coverage, most of us too harried to watch. Then on Saturdays, when we can kick back and relax, not only do the tv stations cutback on Saturday morning news, all 5 have now completely dropped any Saturday morning News telecasts.
We get word of the post office possibly shutting down Saturday home delivery. But, The 5 local network news outlets have already shutdown without any warning or input allowed.
Pitiful.
