First off I enjoy Steve's show along with Johnny B's. Steve has been relying on his past success much too long and needs to get to work on his show. Where are all the guests? Where is the creativity that got him this far? His Drew Peterson was one of his recent creations and did very well. In fact it got the real Drew to call his show and attracted new listeners. Steve has gotten lazy and if he hopes to draw new listeners, he needs to start giving them a reason to tune in. Billboards, restaurant gift certificates, and street hawkers are not going to be enough. He needs to get back to his roots and start putting some creativity back into the show. In contrast, Johnny has Eddie Abler, the Wendella (sp?) Chicago River stunt, etc. Johnny just seems to put more effort into his show lately. PPM has clearly shown that while Steve's listeners are loyal (including me), the numbers show that people just aren't tuning in on a regular basis. If Steve would put some effort into his show he'd find that he doesn't have much serious competition in his demographic (my opinion). And with Spike retiring now is the ideal time to revamp his show to draw more listeners.

: Since Steve Dahl now stops at 9, Jack doesn't keep me on for the music at all.

: I flip to Johnny B from 9-10. So they lose me for an hour.
