Blagojevich blanket-coverage warms WFLD-TV

Fox-owned WFLD-Ch. 32 was rewarded for being the only broadcast TV outlet in town to go wall-to-wall with coverage of Gov. Blagojevich's arrest from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Channel 32 was Chicago's No. 1 station in that span among viewers age 18 to 49 and No. 2 among viewers age 25 to 54.

Other stations in town returned to regular programming, breaking in as new developments and events warranted.

WFLD's Jack Conaty, Dane Placko, Patrick Elwood and Larry Yellen did excellent work.
