They actually have something like this on BBC Radio 1. It's a neat concept, but without the visual, it lacks the "oomph" that it needs to really have the same effect of TV. We're not driven to shows like Rock Of Love or any other reality show because of what we hear, but it's what we SEE. I hate to keep using it as an example, but Rock Of Love would never be in it's third season if we weren't drawn to the the idea of watching these skanks trash them selves and their dignity. So in order for your idea to work, there would need to be a huge web video element to it.
That said, now that you've written it in a public forum, I would try to patent your idea as soon as possible. Ya never know who is reading this board and soon your idea could become Clear Channels "new invention" and you'll get none of the credit.
