I had an idea stolen from me when I was a young buck in the TV biz. Boy...was I pissed. The bastards even called me to tell me they were appropriating my idea and and shutting me out. Luckily, it was a stupid programming concept which failed (hey...I was young and inexperienced) and their company folded because of all the money they threw at it. I didn't feel too sorry for them and had a good laugh (to this day).
I've since included an attorney within my programming team and keep ideas close to the vest. And I ALWAYS have potential "partners" sign non-disclosure ageements before they see or hear a thing about projects.
