I live not too far from the WISN tower site (closer to WTMJ's which is near the Racine/Kenosha County line) WISN is highly directional at night. They use 9 towers to protect
KFAN Minneapolis (northwest)
WDFN Detroit and WBBR New York (east)
KWKH Shreveport, LA (southwest)
This station is so directional you could be staring at its tower site out in the distance and instead of hearing WISN you'd be hearing KWKH. The directional bend "lets go" to the south east a little so it can be heard here at night although it gets heavily stomped on by the others.
During the day it runs on 50kw (directional away from the southwest) but its not as HIGHLY directional as it is at night.
