Some of my best times in Chicago Radio were spent with "Uncle" Deano Day.

Those days gone by when US99 played Steve Earle, Johnny Cash, Lyle Lovett,Charlie Daniels,Willie Nelson, Roseanne Cash....just to name a few...

The only one left from those old days there is Trish who was just getting starting at the time.

: According to AllAccess, the man known as "Uncle Deano" died at age 70 on Friday in Detroit, due to complications from heart surgery.
