What should WGN-AM do for mornings?

A lot of people have previously stated that they don't care for John Williams in the morning. While, it seems logical that there will not be any changes to that anytime soon, speculation is still a fun game to play.

I think it is safe to assume that Garry Meier will never be the morning host (nor should he), so there is no need to bother with that.

That said, which route should WGN realistically go with, if you were to have influence? Would you insist on Steve Cochran getting that spot, maybe give a trial run to a current WGN weekend or fill-in host, or is there anyone in particular who does talk radio in another market that you think would be good for the spot?

I'll hang up and listen for any responses.
